CHARITY INVESTIGATIONS

Back in November 2006, we conducted our first ever charity investigation. The event was a huge success and we managed to raise a staggering £959.20 for research into Multiple Sclerosis. Members of BSPRI were sponsored to spend 10 minutes alone in the condemned mans cell during the investigation at Derby Gaol. Our Patron, Sue Le Queux, author of Haunted Bristol suffers with the awful disease and despite being ill still managed to spend the night there with us.
We are always looking for new venues to conduct a charity investigation so if you have an idea for an event to raise money for a worthy cause in or around the Bristol area, get in touch.

Charity Investigation with Severn Sound Radio at Littledean Jail - Halloween 2008

10 members of BSPRI were joined by Severn Sound radio listeners and Staff at Littledean Jail on Halloween 2008 to raise money for Severn Sounds 'Money Mountain' which benefits local Gloucestershire charities. During the investigation, Severn Sound listeners spent 10 minutes alone in the dark in the spooky Quadrophenia building all for a worthy cause. In total, an impressive £2,000 was raised from the event. Photo 1 - Severn Sound presenter Chris Kaye, presenting me with a certificate for BSPRI. Photo 2 - Group shot
